The Incubate Innovate Network of Canada (I-INC) is a pan-Canadian, internationally connected network of high-performance university-linked accelerators and incubators. I-INC creates an ecosystem for the efficient commercialization of University based and science and technology-enabled innovation. I-INC was founded in 2014 by Ryerson University, Simon Fraser University (SFU) and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) with the support of the Canada Accelerator Incubator Program (CAIP), delivered by the National Research Council – Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP), which awarded funding to best-in-class Canadian accelerators and incubators.

I-INC does not replace the local incubation and accelerator programming and services of the partner institutions. Each institution must develop and deliver programming the meets local and regional needs, assets and strengths. Rather, I-INC provides access to services and networks that would not be possible to support effectively at any one institution in Canada including; access to world class national and international partners, unparalleled access to matching operating funds, top program leaders and mentors, industry-leading best practices and the world class programming and services to ensure entrepreneur and venture development and scale-up success.
