VentureLabs partners with other university, government, and industry partners to support innovation, entrepreneurship and business acceleration.
Networking and Community Building
VentureLabs regularly hosts community events, and can provide entrepreneurs with critical connections, a supportive network, and collaboration opportunities to grow their business. Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (WEKH)
SFU VentureLabs is the BC Regional Hub for WEKH, coordinating regional activities and collaborating with the strong and vibrant women entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The national program is designed to understand and address the needs of diverse women entrepreneurs. WEKH is led by Ryerson University’s Diversity Institute and Ryerson’s Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship and the Ted Rogers School of Management and focused on co-creating knowledge to advance effective practices to support women entrepreneurs.
