The CDL Vancouver Alumni Showcase will spotlight 20 alumni companies spanning
four streams: Climate, Minerals, Compute & Health. These companies are actively seeking Seed
to Series A/B capital.

What to Expect: The event will feature pitch sessions categorized by technology focus areas:
Climate, Minerals, Computing, and Biomedical Engineering. Attendees will also have the
opportunity to engage with founders through interactive demo stations showcasing the
ventures’ technologies. The showcase will culminate in a networking event, offering attendees
the opportunity to connect over canapés and beverages.

Pitches: During the pitch session, each venture will be given three minutes to pitch. The
following topics will be addressed in each pitch:
▪︎ Brief company description
▪︎ The problem they are solving/value proposition
▪︎ Revenue and traction
▪︎ Financing asks and use of funds
