Supporting your journey to scaling up

From first-time founders or multi-time founders with a big idea to pursue, we collaborate with scientific and technology focused entrepreneurs.

VentureLabs offers community support and structured accelerator programs designed to help companies optimize and accelerate their development and growth with actionable advice and hands-on mentoring programs. We provide our members with support services, resources and the relationships to succeed, with access to deep expertise and exposure to potential investors.

Companies join VentureLabs to become members of a supportive, growth-oriented innovation community. All members have access to the full suite of services and programming, whether they are “virtual” and working from their own corporate offices, or “on site” where they require dedicated work area and access to meeting space in the VentureLabs facilities in downtown Vancouver.

SFU VentureLabs has played a critical role in our launch as a startup. We received our first investor pitch training and built a successful go-to-market strategy through a program hosted at VentureLabs. The daily interaction with other cofounders, investors, guest lecturers and entrepreneurs-in-residence at VentureLabs has been incredibly rewarding.

Scale Up Program

Build your unique profile and development path to scale up successfully, with the right expertise and resources.

The accelerator program at SFU VentureLabs is an amazing resource for early-stage entrepreneurial companies.  I have been very pleased working with the Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) team at VentureLabs, as they have helped us to refine our business plan to become more customer-focused and impactful. The working environment is supportive and friendly and we really appreciate the efforts of the entire VentureLabs community.
