Commerce Live Workshops: Investing in Ecommerce
Are you trying to get your ecommerce startup funded? Maybe you’re thinking of making your own investment in Vancouver’s booming ecommerce space.
Join a panel of Vancouver’s leading investors and ecommerce business owners to find out more about their thinking and experiences at every stage of funding a company.
ECOMsquare founder Steve Krueger will lead our panel through an in-depth discussion about all these things, and more, followed by Q&A and a post-event social in the Commerce Clubhouse at ECOMsquare.
Sponsored by American Express
About the panel:
Diraj Goel is a serial entrepreneur and a thought leader in scaling fast-paced, high-growth tech-enabled companies. As a managing partner at Get Fresh Ventures, Diraj has been helping tech entrepreneurs with strategic planning and impactful scale-up strategies to get more clients and more profit. He has helped CEOs and C-level executives grow their companies as well as boost their bottom line, exposing the blind spots that can hurt their company and damage its growth.
Peter Hung brings both a business and technical perspective to his role as an investor at Rhino Ventures where he is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, industry research, and supporting portfolio companies. Recently, Peter took the lead in Rhino’s investment in Vancouver ecommerce furniture giant Article.
Rob Fraser brings a business owner’s perspective to the panel. As the founder and CEO of Outway Socks (formerly Endur), Rob bootstrapped his business to a $10M valuation, and is on the journey to grow his company to $100M, a ongoing journey that has included invaluable first-hand experience finding and working with investors.
