Corporate Governance Series Session 1: Foundations of Corporate Governance

On February 6, we had the pleasure of hosting 40+ of our members, partners, stakeholders, and the startup community for an informative session on Foundations of Corporate Governance, located at the SFU VentureLabs headquarters. This event was hosted in partnership with SFU VentureLabs and Diversity Institute.
We invited our speakers and industry professionals to lead a thoughtful and interactive discussion on the foundations of corporate governance, with a Q&A session from our in-person and online attendees.
Our speakers also covered topics like:
- Framing your strategy when innovating and developing your product and services
- Following a process to set your organization up for success: plan, build, measure and commercialize
