Hamish Dobson is a technology product executive with a background leading and scaling high-growth technology ventures.

For 5 years as Vice President of Product at Motorola Solutions, Mr. Dobson served as the business unit lead for global video security solutions, helping scale the division to over $1 billion in annual revenue. His responsibilities included executing an aggressive organic and inorganic growth strategy, which involved the successful acquisition and integration of seven adjacent product companies. He also led the strategic transformation of the product line, establishing it as a global top-three player by integrating machine vision and AI to enhance physical security operations.

Prior to Motorola, Mr. Dobson was Senior Director of Product Management at Avigilon, where he helped drive its transition from an emergent disruptor to a top-three player in the global video security market, culminating in its $1.1 billion acquisition by Motorola Solutions in 2018. Earlier in his career, Hamish was Director of Product Management at PMC-Sierra (now Microchip). Hamish currently serves on the board of Gatekeeper Systems, a BC-based provider of video and data solutions to enhance safety in the transportation industry.
