Frank advises early stage companies in Agtech and Foodtech on business and go-to market strategy and supports them on their journey to get investment ready and scale-up. He is passionate about supporting transformative innovation that increases sustainability and resilience across the agrifood value chain and benefits the health of people, animals, plants, soil and water. He believes that ESG considerations should be integrated into the business model and stakeholder strategy, and that being carbon neutral or negative will be the new normal and needs to be supported by data and metrics.

Frank is actively involved in the innovation ecosystem in BC and across Canada. He is a leadership team member at the VANTEC Angel Network, BC’s largest Angel investor community that hosts monthly investor pitch meetings. He is an active investor with eFund, a BC-based Angel Fund that invested in more than 35 BC technology ventures, and as an entrepreneur-in-residence (EiR) at Foresight Cleantech Accelerator with a focus on supporting cleantech and circularity in agriculture. Prior to advising and mentoring early-stage companies, Frank provided marketing strategy and services to SMEs with his agency, Crush Marketing. He led marketing teams and worked with sales, product and manufacturing teams at high-tech SMEs in Canada and US Fortune 500 software companies in Europe. He studied at the European Business School in London, lived and worked in 5 countries and enjoys travelling and exploring the wine regions of the world.
