Marissa leads marketing initiatives, communications, and events in support of science and technology startups across British Columbia. She works closely with founders and internal teams to amplify VentureLabs’ programs, strengthen connections within the innovation ecosystem, and support the work of marketing co-op students through mentorship and guidance.
She brings experience across tech, engineering, and community-focused organizations, with a strong understanding of how marketing supports early-stage companies. Having previously worked at VentureLabs early in her career, Marissa brings both institutional knowledge and a deep alignment with its mission to help founders grow and succeed.
Outside of work, Marissa enjoys dancing, sewing, and exploring creative projects—often bringing that same creativity into her approach to marketing.
