In 2019, Giovanni Gerbolini co-founded a med tech startup, where he developed a portable electronic dispensing device that enables patients to precisely dose their medication and track their consumption. As COO, he led key milestones, including the close of our Seed and Series A funding rounds, delivering proof of concept, an MVP, and a commercially viable product in under two years, obtaining Health Canada approval for the sale of our device for cannabis use, and the development and successful grant of our patents.
Giovanni currently works with Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A startups in frontier tech, deep tech, and/or building physical products. He works as an Entrepreneur in Residence with accelerators, a Venture Partner with VCs, and as a Fractional COO for a food tech startup. His areas of expertise include fundraising, business development, B2B sales, product development, finding product-market fit, business strategy, and team alignment and growth. His approach is based on supporting founders’ needs and listening to their most pressing issues while ensuring they are strategic with their time, money, and decision-making.
