Janelle Elbassiony (she/her) is the Operations Manager at VentureLabs. Since joining VentureLabs in 2020, she has been integral in fostering community among VentureLabs’ diverse and innovative science and tech-based ventures.
Janelle is closely involved in Vancouver’s arts & music scene, having previously founded an underground fanzine, record label, and podcast through which she hosted visual art shows at local galleries and promoted gigs at live music venues. She can often be seen volunteering with organizations like Eastside Culture Crawl, Music Waste, and Girls Rock Camp.
