In the second installment of our “Dive in Deeper: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion” web series, held on February 29, 2024, we hosted “Breaking Barriers: Understanding Unconscious Bias and Microaggressions.” In recognition of Black History Month, we discussed Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in the workplace. We covered the topics of anti-racism and microaggressions, and provided actionable steps on how to address biases to help create a healthy and inclusive work environment.

This session was organized by SFU VentureLabs in collaboration with the Diversity Institute, featuring speaker: Nancy Mitchell, Director at Diversity Institute.
