Perago Venture LōD Becomes Dual SOC Certified

VentureLabs Perago company, LōD, announced its System and Organisations Control 1 Type II certification earlier this month. Type II is particularly impressive because it demonstrates that the controls have been attested to operate consistently over time, not just on test day. Completing the rigorous certification process shows LōD’s commitment to reliability and control maturity.
Co-founded by SFU alumnus Medi Naseri, LōD serves the energy, compute and artificial intelligence sectors by optimizing data centers to use energy efficiently and AI ethically. Naseri’s experiences with SFU entrepreneurship programs and mentors were formative, leading to LōD’s foundation in 2022.
The SOC certification helps LōD ensure user trust and safety while also accurately calculating and reporting in areas such as billing, energy usage and financial outcomes.
“Achieving SOC 1 Type II validates that LōD operates with the financial rigour, auditability, and consistency required by enterprise operators, investors, and regulated markets as they scale,” shares Medi Naseri, co-founder and CEO of LōD
