VentureLabs alumni, Ionomr Innovations closes $15M funding round
VentureLabs alumni, Ionomr Innovations raised USD 15 million in a Series A funding round. The investors included, Shell Ventures, Finindus, Chevron Technology Ventures (CTV), NGIF Cleantech Ventures, and Pallasite Ventures.
The company is co-founded by SFU alumnus, Ben Britton when he was completing his PhD on ion exchange membranes and polymers research. The company later joined the VentureLabs accelerator, where they received mentorship support and startup resources to scale their business.
In June 2021, Ionomr was recognized as a top 100 Technology Pioneer in the World Economic Forum list.
