Perago company, Kinitics Automation, announces receiving $2.5 Million in funding towards a project accelerating industrial decarbonization. The project is backed by a contribution of $750,000 from NorthX and an additional $1,529,300 from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program’s (NRCC IRAP) Clean Technology initiative.

This funding round is a breakthrough for Kinitics as it helps scale their mission of the creation of zero-emission, all-electric actuator technology, to act as a direct replacement for pre-existing natural gas operations.

Kinitics Automation is proud and enthusiastic to be one of the four companies North X has chosen to collaborate with towards the advancement of decarbonization technology, as explained below by the company’s President and CEO, Dean Pick.

“This is a huge milestone for Kinitics. We love digging into hard engineering challenges, and this support means we can really hit the gas on our R&D and get the next generation of our actuators ready for the field. It’s a huge win for Kinitics and for the future of clean industrial automation in Canada.”
