VentureLabs Company Intuitive AI Expands to Boston and Guelph with AI-Powered Recycling Technology
VentureLabs company Intuitive AI is expanding its presence in North America with its AI-powered recycling assistant, Oscar Sort, in both Boston Logan International Airport and the University of Guelph. These expansions mark a significant milestone in the company’s mission to revolutionize waste management through artificial intelligence.
At Boston Logan International Airport, Oscar Sort has been deployed across three terminals, helping travellers make informed recycling decisions in real-time. Using advanced image recognition, the system provides instant guidance on waste disposal, reducing contamination and improving recycling accuracy, which aligns with Massport’s goal of achieving Net Zero by 2031.
“Massport has been working hard on meeting our Net Zero goals, and the Oscar Sort AI Recycling Assistant is an important piece of that strategy,” said Rich Davey, Massport CEO. “Whether it’s helping passengers make the right choice when throwing something away or bringing sustainable aviation fuel to the airport, sustainable technology is at the center of everything we do.”
Meanwhile, at the University of Guelph, Oscar Sort is making its campus debut, furthering the university’s commitment to sustainability. The interactive AI-powered assistant is designed to engage students and staff in proper waste sorting, reinforcing environmentally responsible habits across campus.
These latest deployments underscore Intuitive AI’s growth and impact, showcasing how AI-driven solutions can enhance sustainability efforts in both transportation hubs and academic institutions.
“Boston Logan and the University of Guelph are taking a data-driven approach to improve waste management and sustainability,” said Hassan Murad, CEO and co-founder of Intuitive AI. “With Oscar Sort, organizations can increase operational efficiency, cut costs, and make informed decisions backed by real-time data.”
