The Ready to Rocket List by Rocket Builders, is an annual list celebrating BC’s Leading Growth Tech companies. These companies are identified as Emerging Rockets (companies poised for growth) or Ready-to-Rocket (companies already scaling revenue) in several categories: Agri-food, ICT, CleanTech, Digital Health, and Life Sciences.

“Ready to Rocket” companies, on average, have exceeded a 50% annual growth revenue growth rate and have significantly increased their employee headcount each year. “Ready to Rocket” companies are more likely to raise investment capital and each year many of the profiled “Ready to Rocket” companies are acquired.

It’s no secret that companies of all kinds felt the impact of COVID-19. Yet, despite the turbulence and uncertainty of the past year, there’s one theme that sticks out with these BC’s tech stars: resiliency.

According to Rocket Builders, 47% of past winners stated their business growth slowed down and was lower than expected due to the pandemic.

However, of these slowed businesses:

• 30% saw revenue declines
• 58% saw positive revenue growth
• 24% of these companies still saw over 100% growth
